The chief physician of the OKB Vladimir Lyubov Bykov is charged under Art. 290 and 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation

Former chief physician of the Regional Clinical Hospital of Vladimir Lyubov Bykova, who was arrested in a corruption case, pleaded guilty to accepting a bribe of 1.5 million rubles. Criminal cases were initiated against the chief physician under Part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Taking bribes on a large scale"), as well as Part 1 of Art. 285 ("Abuse of office").

According to the investigation, the head physician of the Regional Clinical Hospital Vladimir Lyubov Bykova, from August 2018 to October 2019, Bykova, in violation of the antimonopoly legislation and the legislation on the procurement of goods for state needs, ensured the victory of the commercial firm "Media-Profi" in the auction for the supply of a computed tomograph at a cost over 72 million rubles.

Bykova received an illegal reward in the amount of 950 thousand rubles for eliminating potential competitors and creating other favorable conditions that helped one of the firms win the auction. The defendant received another 500 thousand rubles from representatives of the same company for securing the victory in the tender for the supply of pacemakers.

Bykova's real estate was arrested. The investigation of the criminal case into the theft of budget funds by fraudulent means continues.
