On November 5, 2018, a woman with signs of delivery arrived at the maternity hospital, who on November 6 gave birth to a live boy. According to medical indications, a newborn needed the introduction of an expensive drug. The suspect, exceeding her official authority, instructed the medical staff to take all possible measures to prevent the child from surviving, motivating her position with the high cost of the drug and the deterioration of medical statistics regarding newborn mortality in the event of a child’s death. On the same day, the newborn died in the hospital. In turn, the suspect, wishing to avoid being held accountable by law and to create a favorable picture of the work of the Institution, instructed the subordinate medical worker to knowingly give false information to the birth history that the fetus died in the womb and the baby was born dead.
